ANALYSIS OF OPTIMUM ENERGY MODES OF OPERATION OF NON-ISOTHERMAL PIPELINES

Annotation: The article presents results of analysis of the factors dominating in determination of the optimum energy modes of operation of non-isothermal pipelines. Approximation dependences are given, which serve to determine rheologic properties of the pumped liquid within the working temperature range in non-isothermal pipeline segments. Methods are proposed for determining critical parameters of transition from turbulent regime to laminar one, depending on the criteria of generalized Reynolds/Ilyushin/Hedstrem number and rheologic properties of Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids. Math models are developed for thermohydraulic calculations of turbulent and laminar flows of all non-Newtonian liquids.
