DEFINITION OF THE LOCATION OF VARIABLE FREQUENCY DRIVE

ON THE PIPELINE TECHNOLOGICAL PLOT *

 

Background

Location of the  variable frequency drive of the pumps on the oil pumping station is the relevant problem of their development and adoption.

Aims and Objectives

To define location of the variable frequency drive of the pumps on the oil pumping station accounting afflux and head of the specified number of operating pumps.

Methods

The problem of the location definition of the variable frequency drive of the pumps on the oil pumping stations was solved accounting the optimal pump rotary speed and the limits for its regulation.

Results

There are established the equations of the required rotary speed of the regulating pumps.

This equations allow to find out the rotary speed of one or more pumps accounting the required oil pipeline capacity and known operating regimes of the other pumps.

The algorithm of the location definition for the variable frequency drive of the pumps on the oil pumping station along the oil pipeline is considered.
