DYNAMIC INVESTIGATION OF CLACK-VALVE IN PISTON TYPE DRILLING PUMP NB-125 IZH

 

Background

At present the piston pumps are required to be economically efficient, endurable, quiet and non-vibrating. The vibration sources in hydraulic part of piston pump are the clack valves, which vibration leads to premature wear and failures of the clack valves elements. However, the existing clack valve design do not solve this problems.

Aims and Objectives

The aim is to provide the experimental studies of the clack-valves on water-tight and vibration.

Methods

The dynamic investigation of clack valves are provided on the test stand of drilling pump of piston type NB-125 IZH. Dynamic investigations are aimed in find out of new principles and peculiarities of the clack valve operation and to recommend the new requirements for clack valves.

Results

As a result of testing it was obtained:

1. The first offered clack valve redistributed the energy of oscillations of system «valve – saddle’» in the high frequency range.

2. The second offered clack valve reduces the amplitude of high-frequency oscillations.

Well, the clack valve operation dynamics depends on the construction. Now it is necessary to provide the experimental studies of the offered construction schemes in the wide range of operation properties.
